Hello. My name is Carla Milton. I am a PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Leadership from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. I also hold a Master of Arts degree in Lifespan and Digital Communication, with a concentration in Strategic Communication.

As a Digital Communication and Marketing Program Strategist with the Monarch Humanities Internship Academy at ODU, through this contract role contribute to fully remote initiatives that enhance student internship and work-based learning opportunities for Humanities majors and minors. This role includes project coordination, content creation, and strategic outreach in collaboration with Academy staff and faculty. Fueled by a passion for intentional communication, leadership, and wellness, I help others thrive beyond academia and work responsibilities, leading indoor cycling classes as a Schwinn-certified instructor. This role combines my love for music, movement, and community building. ​I also enjoy dogs, plants, volunteering with my PMI chapter, traveling, and home décor.
