Graduate Research & Teaching Assistantship (GRTA)
Monarch Humanities Internship Academy (MHIA)
GRAD 668: Spring 2025
My role as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant (GRTA) with the Monarch Humanities Internship Academy allowed me to apply strategic communication and project coordination in a fully remote, real-world setting. I collaborated with faculty, ODU’s ePortfolio team, and local organizations such as Validation Counseling Services to support internship expansion. Through this work, I designed outreach materials, developed internship templates, and helped streamline communication between departments and potential internship partners. This GRTA experience has played a significant role in my continued professional development, allowing me to apply my communication, design, and project management skills in collaborative academic and professional settings.
